Maths, a very important, and sometimes tricky area. We find that sometimes students have a problem getting a grasp of the concepts and techniques involved in the subject. Our tutors are very experienced in guiding students to a greater understanding of what is needed to excel. Students can often lose motivation quickly when they feel as though there are areas within the subject that they are simply not able to tackle. At OTLE we believe practice makes perfect, and will look to address our student based on his or her personal learning needs. By starting with the basics and dividing everything into smaller sections, we look to boost the confidence, boost the understanding and then boost the grades.

We will match our plan with your strengths and look to help to gain a complete understanding of the material. At OTLE we understand exams are important, but rather than giving tips to past the test, we make sure the student has a grasp of the information. This is turn will make the exam process less stressful and give the student more confidence when stepping into the exam room.

We teach science at secondary, GCSE and A level standard and all our tutors have achieved success in doing so. We always look the make the journey an enjoyable one, and one where the student can learn as much as possible.

Again this is a subject where the progression of students can be slowed due to a lack of confidence. We aim to boost that confidence by engaging in a learning style which suits the student. English is a subject which is very much suited to the one on one tutoring that OTLE employs. Once the confidence improves, we deal with the understanding and have seen students begin to easily retain what they need to in order to excel in this subject.
